Vienna at Christmas and Jet2CityBreaks have revealed an increase in their number of weekend Christmas market trips on offer this year, plus more flights to Europe’s winter wonderlands.

A total of 12 dedicated weekend trips have been confirmed, heading to some of Europe’s most impressive winter destinations, including Berlin, Copenhagen, Vienna and Munich.

This year’s Christmas market trips depart from more bases as well, including Leeds, Newcastle, Belfast International and Manchester, as well as’s brand-new base in Birmingham.

New Christmas breaks

Each of the two-night breaks departs on a Friday and returns on a Sunday, making them a great choice for those groups after a weekend getaway.

Selected breaks include Berlin from Newcastle, from 1st to 3rd December; Munich from Newcastle from 8th to 10th December; and Prague from Belfast from 1st to 3rd December.

You can also opt to fly to Vienna from Leeds, Bradford and Newcastle airports on 24th November, Birmingham on 1st December, Belfast on 8th December and Manchester on 1st, 8th or 15th December.

More this winter

In addition to the return of the Christmas market trips, and Jet2CityBreaks will operate more flights to a number of popular winter wonderlands from across its network of nine UK bases.

In total almost 110,000 seats, an increase of 36% on last year, are on sale now offering flight only and flight and hotel options to a host of other wonderful Christmas market destinations, such as Budapest, Krakow, Prague and Salzburg.

Jet2 is also offering 30 trips direct to New York from seven UK airports in between October and the New Year.
