Until August, St George’s Hall in Liverpool is hosting an immersive multi-sensory experience, combining classical music, electronic soundscapes and 360 degree light projections.

Light and sounds create a multi-sensory experience for visitors.

The experience, Flow by Eonarium, is focused around the rythm and beauty of nature and transforms the building’s grand architecture into a living, breathing river through audio and visuals.

Flow brings the force of the Vltava River to life, and the experience blends orchestral music, electronic sound design and striking visuals. It has been created in collaboration with the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra and under Zurich-based artist collective PROJEKTIL’s direction.

The entire ceiling and architecture have been mapped and measured for the projections to align, creating a seamless light show experience. 3D projections create imagery of serene springs, dense forests, joyful riverbanks and dreamlike nights, transporting the audience to the river.

It is taking place at the neoclassical St George’s Hall, located in the centre of Liverpool, opposite Lime Street station. The Grade I listed building contains concert halls and law courts and opened its doors to the public in 1854 and is celebrating 170 years this summer.

Previous experiences

Eonarium FLOW is the second of its immersive light shows at St George’s Show, Liverpool, following Eonarium Enlightenment which brought Vivaldi’s four seasons to life.

The experience, which has now closed, used visuals and 3D projections to immerse visitors in spring, summer, autumn and winter accompanied by the melodies of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.
