The Quiz Calder session will give you the chance to pose questions to Britain’s No.1 travel expert.

The Group Leisure & Travel Show is the best event for group travel organisers and coach operators to meet all types of exhibitors, including top attractions, tourist boards, accommodation providers, coach companies, tour operators, cruise lines and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to talk face to face with people who can help you create fantastic group trips and holidays.

It takes place on Thursday 6th October 2022 at the Marshall Arena, Milton Keynes and will be open between 10am and 4pm, with free parking, plus a complimentary bacon butty breakfast and light lunch for everyone.

As usual, visitors can listen to ideas and advice from the expert speakers in the Seminar Theatre, which is open to everyone. The 2022 line-up includes the welcome return of Simon Calder for a Q&A session with Britain’s No.1 travel expert at 1pm.

Group travel organisers and visitors can use this special opportunity to ask Simon Calder their own questions. You can submit yours prior to the show by sending an email to editorial@groupleisureandtravel.com with the subject ‘Quiz Calder’. Or ask it on the day.

Simon is the senior travel editor of The Independent, and an acclaimed television and radio broadcaster and commentator, featuring as the ‘go to’ expert on programmes including BBC Breakfast, Good Morning Britain and both the BBC and ITV News.

He told us: “I can’t tell you how much I look forward to coming to the Group Leisure & Travel Show because we’re talking, meeting, exchanging ideas and getting inspired about all the opportunities there are to travel.”

Just add water: planning a successful group cruise, with Jane Archer

Jane is an award-winning journalist and cruise expert who has sailed to the ends of the Earth – literally – during a 30 year career. She will be explaining the options you have when thinking about organising an ocean or river cruise for a group. She will also explore how you can use mini and short break cruises to ‘test the water’ too.

Royal Insights with Jennie Bond

Broadcaster and journalist, Jennie Bond was the BBC’s Royal Correspondent for 14 years. Known to young and old for her exploits in the jungle of ITV’s I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, she has also presented a number of successful TV programmes. Jennie has travelled the world with the Royal Family and will talk about life with the Royals and about some of her favourite destinations around the globe.
