Cruise company, Holland America Line, has unveiled an enhanced Asia programme for winter 2018/19, featuring itineraries to destinations such as Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Philippines, China, Taiwan, Japan and South Korea.

Early bookers will have the opportunity to benefit from the ‘Explore4’ offer, which includes a drinks package worth up to $1,000 and speciality dining, among other things.

About the programme

The recently refreshed ms Westerdam will offer guests 16 Asia cruises from ten to 16 nights, departing from locations such as Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Yokohama.

Carrying 1,964 guests, the ship features accommodation, with more than 65% of rooms benefitting from a private veranda. The luxurious suites were all also refreshed in summer 2017.

In addition, on the 1,258-guest ms Maasdam, guests can enjoy one of four immersive cruises to Asia and beyond for 20 to 21 nights.

Example itineraries of the new programme include the Far East Discovery, departing from Hong Kong and visiting Sanya (Hainan, China), Vietnam’s Halong Bay, Da Nang for the ancient city of Hue, Nha Trang, and Phu My, gateway to Ho Chi Minh City, among other places, before ending in Singapore.

A 14-night China, South Korea & Japan cruise will depart from Shanghai, on 18th February 2019, visiting places such as Qingdao, Tianjin for an overnight stay in Beijing, and ending in Yokohama.

Along with the new cruises, Holland America Line is also bringing back its ‘Explore4’ promotion with benefits for early bookers, including a drinks package worth up to US$1,000 per stateroom (based on a 12-night cruise), a speciality dining experience for two, reduced fares for 3rd or 4th guests and 50% reduced deposit for those who book by 17th November 2017.
