Hever Castle’s 2024 group events and offers

There are several benefits for groups visiting the castle and gardens including special group packages, menus, discounted admission rates and a free visit for the group leader and coach driver. 

The double-moated 14th century castle boasts more than 600 years of history and it’s surrounded by 125 acres of glorious grounds and award-winning gardens. 

Snowdrop Walk 2024: 7th - 18th February

Wrap up warm to take in the spectacular sight of around 140,000 snowdrops. Look out for a mix of single and double snowdrops interspersed with some unusual varieties. 

Group offers: the package includes admission to the castle & gardens along with an interactive castle audio guide. There are also two and three course lunch packages for groups of 15 or more. 

Dazzling Daffodils: 18th - 22nd March, 2024

Almost 80,000 daffodils will greet your group for a cheery spring day out. Master grower Johnny Walkers of Walkers Bulbs and winner of no less than 36 RHS gold medals will be giving free garden tours (Monday - Friday). Many of the castle rooms will also be filled with daffodil arrangements created by Hever’s florist. 

Group offers: opt for an afternoon tea menu (for groups of 20 or more) or a soup & sandwich lunch menu. The package includes a Daffodil Tour at either 11.30am or 2pm as well as general admission and an interactive castle audio guide. 

Celebration of Spring 2024: 15th - 19th and 22nd - 26th April

From blossoms to bluebells, Hever Castle & Gardens has spring covered for 2024, promising a colourful celebration for your group. There’ll be thousands of tulips, spring bedding, cherry and apple blossom galore as well as magnolias, early rhododendrons, hyacinths, camassias and bluebells. The two week celebration will feature twice daily tours in week one with the gardening team and in week two, there will be gardening workshops. 

Group offers: once you’ve worked up an appetite, choose from either a soup and sandwich menu or a two course lunch for your group. The package also includes admission the castle & gardens, the interactive castle audio guide and either a tour or workshop. 

Hever in Bloom 2024: 24th - 27th June and 1st, 2nd, 4th July

See the glorious gardens at the height of their summer beauty with one of the finest displays of roses and summer blooms in the ‘Garden of England’. Inside the castle, many rooms will be filled with floral arrangements too. Groups can have a guided tour of the garden with head gardener Neil Miller and his team. 

Group offers: the package includes general admission, the interactive castle audio guide and a garden tour. GTOs. can add an afternoon tea or two course lunch onto their package too. 

Christmas at Hever Castle 2024: 22nd - 24th and 29th - 30th November / 1st and 4th - 20th December

It’s a regular winner of the Best Christmas Experience in the Group Leisure & Travel Awards for a reason and 2024 looks set to be just as wonderful, if not more so. Take your group to experience the magical themed Christmas trail through the grounds, enjoy relaxed shopping in the gift shops and sample a delicious Christmas menu in the restaurant. 

Inside the castle, expect beautifully decorated rooms, welcoming log fires and twinkling Christmas trees.
