The gardens of Hampton Court Palace will showcase artisan food and drinks, carefully curated gifts and a seasonal atmosphere over the first two weekends of December.
Hampton Court Palace Festival Fayre will take place from 5th to 7th and 12th to 14th December, celebrating its tenth year in the grounds of the former home of Henry VIII.
The fayre will feature more than 100 exhibitors, ranging from artisan food and drinks stands to independent retailers stocking a range of gifts in time for Christmas. Live music and horse and cart rides will provide additional entertainment in the grounds of the Tudor palace.
Inside the Tudor kitchens, visitors will be able to watch demonstrations of period cookery in front of the roaring fire, or explore the State Apartments and Great Hall decorated with traditional festive decorations whilst live performances of seasonal songs take place.
What’s for sale?
Foodies and aspiring chefs will be able to browse and buy a variety of ingredients to add to their winter feasts, including honey, charcuterie, chutneys, salts, fudge, meringues, artisan cheeses and more, whilst sweet treats and tasty tipples will also be on offer.
12 street food stalls will be offering up tasty food including Crispy Duck Rotisserie, Supreme Hog Roast and The Cheese Boys’ steak raclette, whilst seasonal drinks including cider and mulled wine will also be available at pop-up bars.
Group visits
Admission to the Hampton Court Palace Festive Fayre is included with palace admission tickets. Groups of 15 or more can take advantage of discounted admission and private tours of Hampton Court Palace.
Coach drop-off and collection points are located at Hampton Court Green and Hampton Court Station Coach Park.
