Mrs. Doubtfire, a comedy musical based on the iconic movie starring Robin Williams, will open at London’s Shaftesbury Theatre next year.
Having made its UK premiere in Manchester earlier in 2022 on a month-long run, the London production will begin performances at the newly refurbished Shaftesbury Theatre from Friday 12th May 2023, with tickets now on sale to groups of ten or more at a discounted rate.
Gabriel Vick will star as the leading man and woman, Daniel Hillard, plus his alter ego Mrs Doubtfire. The show is currently booking until January 2024.
The comedy follows out-of-work actor Daniel who will do anything for his kids. After losing custody in a messy divorce, he creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire in a desperate attempt to stay in their lives.
As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
