The historic palace will be decked out with spooky decorations.

From 25th October to 2nd November, Halloween at Hampton Court Palace will transform the palace and grounds with atmospheric projections and creepy sound effects, whilst spirits and dark figures lurk around corners.

Taking place during the October half term, the spooky days out at the former home of Oliver Cromwell and Henry VIII is included with admission and pre-booking is recommended.

What’s included?

A new outdoor trail will welcome visitors in the Haunted Garden and Wilderness Trail, where a skeletal horse and carriage will keep watch.

Bubbling potions and the summoning of spirits can be found in the Wise Woman’s Hut; where visitors will have to tread carefully past the wandering eyes of glaring gargoyles and crumbling ruins.

Inside the palace the shadowy corridors will lead to encounters with the ghosts of Henry VIII and Oliver Cromwell, whilst a tangled web of cobwebs and cocoons await in the wine cellar.

Inside the Guard Chamber of William III’s apartments visitors can listen to haunting tales of Hampton Court Palace’s former restless residents. Storytelling will take place daily at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 5pm.
