Emmerdale Studio Experience

The Emmerdale Studio Experience in Leeds has announced that group bookings are now being taken for visits from 3rd September onwards.

Groups of 15 or more people visiting the studios will be able to explore behind the scenes of ITV’s long-running British soap opera Emmerdale at a discounted rate.

Located at the television programme’s former studio on Burley Road in Leeds, the new experience will take groups on a journey to show how Emmerdale’s characters and stories are brought to life for the screen.

The experience encompasses fully guided tours that will shine a light on the production process of Emmerdale.

Full scale set reconstructions, preserved props and costumes, as well as an insight into the secrets behind stunts and special effects are all to be expected.

Groups can explore the sets of the Dingles’ house, Bernice’s Salon, Smithy Cottage and The Woolpack pub, as well as hear fascinating facts about some of the soap’s biggest storylines.

Highlights include a crafted quarter-size replica model village, where sculpted rows of stone clad cottages, Bob’s café, David’s shop and The Woolpack are located.

Plus, groups will have the chance to tread the boards behind The Woolpack bar for a photograph.

Tours last approximately one hour and 20 minutes, and there is a café on site if groups fancy stopping for refreshments.

Continuum Attractions will operate the Emmerdale Studio Experience in partnership with ITV. Tours will run at the attraction seven days a week from 10am until 5pm.
