New Group Leisure %26 Travel logo

From the June edition, there will be a new name for Group Leisure that better reflects who we are and what we offer our readers and advertisers today.

Group Leisure magazine will change its name and presentation to Group Leisure & Travel. We feel that this small change to our name better reflects who we are and what we offer our readers and advertisers today. The change will also signal a fresh design, new ideas and original features.

The June edition carries our quarterly Cruise Magazine, which has also been given an update to its design. Its stylish layout means it's looking better than ever.

Of course, the magazine is still packed with fantastic ideas, advice and tips to help GTOs organise successful group trips and holidays.

Publisher, Rob Yandell said: “Remarkably, it has been ten years since our last major change to Group Leisure. We are very excited by our new look and updated magazine title which has been carefully planned over several months. I hope you like the changes which we think will make finding great ideas even easier, as well as delivering an even more enjoyable magazine to read.”

About Group Leisure & Travel

Group Leisure & Travel is published 12 times per year - a third more frequency than our nearest competitor with only eight editions.

Qualifying group travel organisers and coach operators can receive a free subscription. To register for the magazine simply fill out the form at groupleisure.com/register.

GLT is available in print, online e-magazine edition or through free apps for Apple iPads and Android tablets. A weekly e-newsletter with the best stories, ideas and features from the website is sent to inboxes every Thursday and you can sign up to receive it.

It also runs and organises the annual Group Leisure & Travel Awards, which gives readers the opportunity to vote for their favourite attractions, destinations, operators and suppliers. This year’s awards dinner and ceremony will take place on Wednesday 11th October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

The awards is the night prior to the Group Leisure & Travel Show, the leading exhibition for anyone who organises group trips and holidays. The biggest names will be exhibiting and visitors will be able to meet people who really understand groups, find exclusive deals, new ideas, and listen to celebrity experts in the Seminar Theatre which is open to all. The 2017 speakers have been confirmed as Simon Calder, Nicholas Owen, Dan Cruickshank and Chris Beardshaw.

Group Leisure & Travel magazine is posted monthly and also available online at groupleisure.com/emag, which includes access to recent back issues, the ability to search for keywords and share content with friends and colleagues.
