Great Rail Journeys has revealed its 2018 Europe, UK & Cruising by Rail brochure that includes over 115 tours to more than 17 European countries.

The programme includes four Cultural Collection tours and three new Oberammergau tours.

The new tours

From April to September 2018, groups can book the All-Inclusive Tuscan Villa tour, on which guests will spend ten days exploring the heart of the Italian countryside by first-class rail.

Customers on this tour will be able to sample wines at the Il Palagetto vineyard, explore Renaissance Florence, see the Leaning Tower of Pisa and discover Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo da Vinci.

In addition, departing in May and August 2018, the Continental Classic Express 11-day tour will allow visitors to discover some of the best scenery of central and eastern Europe, in places such as Budapest, Belgrade and Dubrovnik, with guided tours included.

For groups interested in the Iberian Peninsula, the new Lisbon and Southern Portugal tour will take visitors to charming cities, palaces and the county’s capital in a ten-day adventure.

Departing from May until September 2018, the trip includes guided tours of Lisbon, Sintra, Elvora and Elvas.

Finally, for those who want to stay closer to home, the seven-day Isles of Scilly tour will explore the islands, departing in April and June 2018.

Customers on this tour can expect azure waters and magical beaches, with trips on the St Ives Bay Line, Tresco and Abbey Gardens, off the Cornish coast.
