Kew the Music

The full musical line-up for this year’s Kew the Music, taking place at the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, has been announced, and includes Passenger and Razorlight.

The series of summer picnic concerts, which takes place annually, will be running between 11th and 16th July, and tickets for each of the days are on sale now.

The line up

This year’s Kew the Music will open on 11th July with a night with singer-songwriter Mike Rosenberg, known to his fans as Passenger.

This concert is described as a new departure for Rosenberg, as for this concert he will perform not as a solo troubadour, but will be backed by a five-piece band showcasing songs from his latest album.

Razorlight will perform on 12th July with a new set, since the band has been reinvigorated with new member guitarist David Ellis. Razorlight will be supported by The Bluetones and Reef frontman Gary Stringer.

Girl band All Saints are confirmed for 13th July, when they’ll be performing hits from their new album Red Flag. All Saints will be supported by ex-Spice Girl Melanie C.

Haçienda Classiçal will perform at Kew on 14th July with their classical-meets-club music, while British indie band James will perform on 15th July.

Closing Kew the Music will be R&B singer Mary J. Blige, who has been described as one of the defining voices of the contemporary music era. Blige will perform on 16th July.
