Food cruise%2C Cunard

Cunard Cruises has announced its latest line-up of event cruises for 2016, celebrating fashion and food on various themed holidays.

Fashion fans can enjoy a seven-night sailing across the Atlantic on a Transatlantic Fashion Week voyage (1st to 8th September) which will finish by arriving in New York on the day New York Fashion Week 2016 begins.

The voyage will be hosted by a number of significant names from the fashion industry: groups can enjoy being an audience to British designer Dame Zandra Rhodes CBE, fashion historian Colin McDowell, and Fern Mallis, the founder of New York Fashion Week.

Groups on a Transatlantic Fashion Week voyage will get to see Dame Zhandra Rhodes reveal designs from her collections on board Queen Mary 2 during the voyage.

Additionally, guests will have the opportunity to meet the designers of the future, as students from The Royal College of Art, showcase their latest collections on board.

Alternatively, GTOs can opt for a foodie-themed cruise on a British Isles Culinary Discovery trip next summer (23rd June to5th July).

The cruise will feature prominent names from the world of gastronomy, including Charles Sichel of wine merchant Maison Sichel and Jilly Goolden, English wine critic and UK television personality.

Guests will be able to enjoy regional delicacies from around the British Isles through a range of tailored shore-side excursions, hosted on-board events and specially curated menus.

Group bookings are available for parties of 16 or more people; contact 0843-374 0000 for further information or visit www.cunard.co.uk.
