Crystal Bach

Crystal is introducing new ten-day ‘Enchanting Moselle’ itineraries for next year, sailing from Amsterdam through Germany and the Netherlands.

The round-trip itineraries, onboard Crystal Bach, will run from 28th May 2019 through to 24th December 2019.

The voyages will feature five new ports of call along the vineyard-flanked Moselle River, considered to be ‘one of the most breath-taking stretches of river in Europe’.

Guests can experience Rieslings and the famous vintages of the Mosel Wine Region in Bernkastel, the Medieval charm and Roman ruins of Trier and the architecture of Reichsburg Castle in Cochem.

Along with Moselle, the cruise will sail along the Rhine River and visit include Bonn, Beethoven’s birthplace; Dusseldorf, the cultural and fashion hub of Germany; the historic war museums of Arnhem, Netherlands; and returning favourite, Koblenz, which offers travellers the view of the point at which the Rhine and the Moselle meet.

Overnights spent in Amsterdam and Trier afford time for longer trips, such as a day in nearby Luxembourg or an in-depth exploration of Holland’s art and culinary scenes.

Walter Littlejohn, vice president and managing director of Crystal River Cruises, commented: “The new Moselle voyages aboard Crystal Bach allow travellers to venture off the beaten path to less visited destinations of remarkable beauty and fascinating history.”
