River cruise operator CroisiEurope has added a new break to its programme in the form of a classical music themed cruise from Seville to Lisbon.

The cruise will feature a private concert by classical musicians, specialist lectures by a music journalist, and a number of music-themed shore excursions.

The six-day cruise, onboard the MS Belle de Cadix, will embark on 30th June with an overnight stay in Seville.

Groups will visit Cordoba, El Puerto de Santa Maria, Cadiz, Alcoutim and Vila Real de San Antonio before finishing in Lisbon for two nights in a hotel.

Classical music activities

During the voyage, guests on board the ship will get to enjoy some classical music-themed events and activities.

One of these is a private concert in Seville by musicians such as the soprano Gabrielle Philiponet, and Emmanuel Rossfelder who is a guitarist, and Satenik Khourdoian who plays the violin.

Other artists who will appear during the concert include Alexander Gurning on piano and Francois Chaplin who plays piano and is a musical director.

Further shore excursion highlights include a Sephardic and Andalusian concert in the former Jewish quarter of Seville, and an evening of Fado music in Lisbon.

Groups will also get to enjoy concerts onboard the MS Belle de Cadix, as well as classical music lectures by journalist and music connoisseur Alain Duault.

Group travel with CroisiEurope

GTOs will receive a discounted cruise group rate which is available for parties of 20 or more.
