Celebrity Cruises has announced its most extensive European programme ever, plus new itineraries to Japan, Antarctica and Alaska with dedicated support for group bookings.

The premium cruise line has announced that four Edge Series ships, including the recently upgraded Celebrity Beyond, will sail in Europe for the first time in an expanded season, including Celebrity Cruises’ most extensive programme yet in Northern Europe.
Celebrity Beyond will be returning to Europe for the first time since 2023, offering departures from Southampton to Norway, Iceland and across Scandinavia. Plus, a new British Isles itinerary for Celebrity Apex will see the cruise line’s first-ever trip to Galway, Ireland.
Further afield, groups can experience Japan on the renewed Celebrity Solstice, choose from more itineraries to Australia, New Zealand and Alaska, and Antarctica returns in an extended South America season.

Season highlights
Itineraries for the extensive 2028-29 season feature destinations across Europe, Alaska, Asia, Australia, New England, and South America. Highlights include:
- The most Edge Series ships in Europe - Celebrity Beyond, Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, and Celebrity Apex.
- Overnight visits to Egypt on Celebrity Infinity.
- Celebrity Cruises’ first-ever visit to Galway, Ireland, on Celebrity Apex’s new British Isles itineraries, plus a return to Bari, Italy, for the first time in more than a decade on Celebrity Constellation and Celebrity Infinity.
- Round-trip Hawaii sailings from Los Angeles, and Celebrity Equinox’s first Alaska season.
- The first full Japan season for the Solstice Series with 2028 sailings on the renewed Celebrity Solstice.
- An extended South America season and a return to Antarctica on Celebrity Equinox.
Europe expansion
Celebrity Apex’s expanded European itineraries include a 12-night comprehensive Scandinavia tour, stopping at destinations in Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Estonia and Finland, and the new 12-night British Isles sailings to Scotland, Ireland, and England which will feature the first visit to Galway for the cruise line.
Celebrity Beyond will be offering UK departures from Southampton on a 14-night voyage around Iceland and Norway, calling at Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur before sailing through Norway’s iconic fjords in Geiranger, Alesund, Flam, Nordfjordeid, and Bergen.

There will be several itineraries covering destinations throughout southern Europe and will feature two major returning destinations - Bari will be visited for the first time since 2014, and overnight stays in Alexandria, Egypt, will resume on Celebrity Infinity.
Long-haul voyages
Three Celebrity ships will be sailing to Alaska in 2028, offering a range of wildlife experiences. Celebrity Equinox will be sailing to the region for the first time, and guests will have the option of extending their trip with a land-based Cruisetour led by guides with local ties to the region, with stays at lodges and travel along remote roads and railways, stopping in Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali.
Celebrity Equinox will also be running round-trip voyages to Hawaii from Los Angeles. South Pacific sailings on Celebrity Solstice take guests to destinations like Tauranga, New Zealand; Lifou, Loyalty Islands; and Mystery Island, Vanuatu.
Australia and New Zealand itineraries range from four-night escapes to 14-night journeys on Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice, with 23 sailings from Sydney and Auckland in the 2028-29 season.
South America and Antarctica voyages offer 12- to 16-night bucket-list itineraries spanning five countries on Celebrity Equinox, from the cliffs of the Chilean Fjords to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Iguazu Falls and the wild Antarctic. In Patagonia, guests can visit penguin colonies, hike through forests, or go whale watching.

Seasonal itineraries include seeing the autumn colours in Canada and New England, winter sailings throughout Southeast Asia, and experiencing the spring cherry blossom and koyo (autumn leaves) in Japan.
Upgrades for Celebrity Beyond
Groups will be able to book seven-to-14 night sailings on the ship departing from Southampton, which is the third in the Edge Series and features more than 30 restaurants, bars and lounges.
From November this year, new outdoor venues will open on Celebrity Beyond for an upgraded onboard experience, including Orange Peele Bar and Grille, Bora rooftop restaurant and Celebrity Pool Club.
Other highlights on board for guests departing Southampton will be Le Voyage by Daniel Boulud - Celebrity’s culinary ambassador and chef, and the World Class Bar.
Group bookings
Celebrity Cruises provides a dedicated planner for every group booking to help arrange excursions and exclusive use of areas of the ships, plus there are benefits fro group leaders including onboard credits. Flexible payment options are available for groups booking eight staterooms or more.
Sailings to Japan in summer 2028 are available to book now, while other itineraries are due to open for bookings in late August and September.
