Peter pan.

LHK Productions has announced that singer Dane Bowers, 2016 Britain’s Got Talent contestant Lewis Pryor and Radio City’s Claire Simmo will be the stars of its Peter Pan panto this Christmas.

The show will run from 8th December until 1st January at The Epstein Theatre in Liverpool.

About the cast

Bowers, who will play Captain Hook, began his career as part of the British boyband Another Level, which achieved several platinum-selling albums and singles, including Freak Me.

Following the band’s split in 2000, he went on to score two UK top ten singles before establishing himself as a DJ in both the UK and abroad.

He has also appeared on Celebrity Big Brother, ITV’s The Big Reunion and Celebrity Come Dine With Me.

The production’s Peter Pan, Lewis Pryor, took part in last year’s series of Britain’s Got Talent, finishing third place in the live finals as a member of dance troupe Boogie Storm, after receiving the golden buzzer spot from Simon Cowell.

Pryor is currently training at Jelli Studios, while he has previously studied at Liverpool Empire Youth Theatre and the Jennifer Ellison Fame Academy.

He has also appeared in other stage productions, including LHK’s 2016 Aladdin panto as Wishy Washy.

In addition, Liverpool’s Radio City host Simmo will be starring as Tinkerbell, and actor Michael Chapman will star as the Darling Family Cook.

The production

LHK’s production of Peter Pan will see Tinkerbell join the boy who never grew up, Wendy and The Lost Boys on an adventure full of pirates, mermaids, Indians and a devious croc.

Organisers say the show will ‘treat audiences to funny scripts, trade-mark choreography and sparkling costumes’.

The production’s complete line-up will be announced in the coming weeks.
