Concrete Beach Beers

Passengers on Carnival cruises will be able to sip hand-crafted beers that have been brewed onboard when the Carnival Vista launches in May.

Three special brews will be available in the Red Frog Pub and Brewery, which has been developed in partnership with Concrete Beach Brewery from Florida.

Original recipes have been created and will be used to produce beers called ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin’ IPA, ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat and FriskyFrog Java Stout.

ThirstyFrog Port Hoppin’ IPA should be aromatic and floral with hoppy notes and passion fruit and citrus overtones.

ThirstyFrog Caribbean Wheat will be an unfiltered lager with aromas of bananas and spices.

The third beer, FriskyFrog Java Stout, meanwhile, will be a take on a traditional stout; rich and creamy with hints of coffee.

Carnival already has a commitment to serving quality beer onboard its ships. The line also offers beers brewed either locally in its homeports or within the homeport states on ships sailing from New Orleans, Galveston, Baltimore and Tampa, as well as ships that sail to Alaska and Hawaii.

Eddie Allen, Carnival’s vice president of beverage operations commented; “We’ve been working for months with these talented partners who have helped us create three exciting and unique craft beers for Carnival Vista and we anticipate our guests are going to absolutely love them.”
