The UK and Ireland tour of Annie will open at New Wimbledon Theatre, before visiting venues across the UK into 2027.

The cast for the UK tour of Annie will be announced at a later date.

The show, produced by Michael Harrison and David Ian will begin touring on 23rd May, where the story of little orphan Annie will play at New Wimbledon Theatre until 30th May.

Annie will then move onto venues across the UK, including Milton Keynes Theatre,Theatre Royal Newcastle and Norwich Theatre Royal. It is currently scheduled to run until 14th March 2027, with further dates and casting set to be announced. 

The production is directed by Nikolai Foster with choreography by Nick Winston and music by Charlie Strouse. It features a Tony award-winning book and score and includes iconic songs such as It’s the Hard Knock Life, Easy Street, I Don’t Need Anything But You and Tomorrow.

About the story

Set in 1930s New York during the Great Depression, the show tells the story of brave young Annie, forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage. 

Her luck soon changes when she’s chosen to spend a fairytale Christmas with famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks. Meanwhile, spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie’s search for her true family…

Previous performances

Annie previously went on tour in 2023, where it starred dancer and Strictly Come Dancing judge, Craig Revel Horwood in the role of Miss Hannigan.

The show has also been performed on the West End stage, including in 2017/18, when Miranda Hart starred in the role. 

Tickets for the 2026/27 tour are on sale for some venues. Group booking is venue specific.
