Arena Rail Holidays has unveiled its 2019 programme which includes a six-day rail journey through Austria and a new trip onboard the Glacier Express.
Groups can opt to take an Alpine Rail Discovery trip through Austria, Switzerland, France and Germany, exploring alpine vistas and historic cities.
With five nights’ accommodation in the Medieval city of Feldkirch, Austria, the itinerary features trips to the surrounding towns, journeys through spectacular Swiss scenery, visits to Liechtenstein and fairy-tale castles in Germany. The tour departs in May and June 2019.
The Glacier Express Summer Magic break, meanwhile, offers a mountain escape from the comfort of the Glacier Express train. This five-day tour carves a route through the heart of the Swiss Alps, exploring picturesque villages along the way.
Departing in the heart of summertime, there are visits to the Alt Goldau and Mount Rigi, a cruise upon Lake Thun and the opportunity to see the Swiss capital of Bern.
Also included in the new programme is a chance to book early for a trip to the Passion Play, a once-in-a-decade spectacle that has been running for 400 years in the Bavarian village of Oberammergau.
Oberammergau Passion Play and the Austrian Alps 2020 is an eight-day tour including tickets to the play, as well as trips through the Austrian Alps in the height of summer, with excursions aboard the famous Pinzgauer Railway to the Krimml Waterfalls and stays in the mountain surrounded town of Zell am see.
Arena Rail Holidays can offer a range of benefits for groups, ranging from free places to bespoke presentations and tailor-made itineraries. Offers are also available for groups including free excursions and no single supplements on selected tours.
