GLT Show 2023: competitions, giveaways and exclusive show offers

The tour operator will be offering exclusive discounts for visitors to the GLT Show, plus a further discount on the total group price if you’re a first-time booker. The team will also be hosting a competition to give you the chance of winning a three-night stay at one of its fabulous UK country houses.

Great West Way® | Stand 109

The new Great West Way Travel Trade Directory is a one-stop-shop for group organisers to find out more about what’s available along the historic route, with new specialist tours, attractions and inspirational itineraries to tempt you into a visit. On stand 109, you’ll find Ascot Racecourse (pictured), English Heritage, Longleat, Cheddar Gorge & Caves, The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Swindon, Old Bell Hotel Warminster and destinations including Wiltshire, Windsor and Reading.

There will also be a competition to win tickets to the likes of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Longleat and Stonehenge, plus for one lucky winner, a complimentary one-night dinner, bed and breakfast at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Swindon.

Ambassador Cruise Line | Stand 729

The team will be offering a free ship tour and lunch for your group to come on board and experience one of its ships. Group organisers can only register for this on the day of the GLT Show and the lucky winner will be announced at the end of the exhibition. You can also discover more about the cruise line’s updated groups policy which includes a 5% discount and a free place after 25 guests are booked, as well as an on-board cocktail party.

Dunwood | Stand 329

In 2024, Dunwood will be celebrating its 30th anniversary, so the team will be showcasing and launching a selection of spectacular commemorative breaks exclusively throughout next year. Visitors to the show can also celebrate the milestone by picking up special commemorative giveaways, including some delicious anniversary cakes. There will also be a free holiday prize draw for two people to Cyprus, with stand sharers Constantinou Bros and AGTO also on-hand to share their expertise.

Aylesbury Waterside Theatre | Stand 207

Visitors will be in with a chance of winning tickets to see a show of their choice at Aylesbury Waterside Theatre as a VIP guest (subject to terms and conditions). With a broad range of touring productions, you’ll have plenty of shows to choose from! The team will also be on-hand to share details of the group booking discounts available.

Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew | Stand 539

Say hello to the team from the Royal Botanic Gardens in Richmond who are planning to promote the Orchids Festival coming up early next year. As for giveaways, visitors will be offered a 10% discount to those who book a group visit within two weeks of the GLT Show, plus there will be a prize draw offering two free tickets to the Orchids Festival for people leaving their business cards or contact details.

Visit Leicester | Stand 317

It’s competitions galore on the Visit Leicester stand with three prizes up for grabs! You could win: two tickets to the King Richard III Visitor Centre (which includes a free hot drink and cake at White Boar Café), two day adult tickets for the Great Central Railway (including a hot drink and cake at Butler Henderson Café – Quorn and Woodhouse Station) or an ultimate pie-making, three-hour experience at the award winning Brockleby’s Pies for two – you can even sample some delicious Melton Mowbray Pork Pies on the day. If that’s not enough, group organisers can pick up a free copy of Visit Leicester’s new Group Travel Guide packed with information, itineraries and practical help.

Belvoir Castle | Stand 217

GTOs can discover what’s on offer at one of Leicestershire’s top stately homes, from beautiful Rose Gardens to Hans Holbein’s famous Henry VIII portrait. Whenever you visit, groups will never miss an opportunity to explore a treasure trove of heritage. On 5th October, there will be a chance to win a delightful Afternoon Tea and tour of the castle during the Christmas season for four people when you leave your details. Everybody visiting the stand will also get a free surprise gift!

Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines | Stand 615

Group travel organisers will have the chance to visit one of the cruise line’s ships on a day visit, where a tour of the ship, presentation and lunch will be provided by the friendly Fred. Olsen sales team. On the day of the show, Fred. Olsen will be able to offer special concession rates for new group travel organisers looking to book a cruise as a research trip for bringing potential groups on board. Visitors are also encouraged to ask about the current group offers available on selected sailings and extra on-board experiences for group leaders who book a group as a result of attending the show.

Continuum Attractions | Stand 315

Discover what all the Continuum Attractions can offer groups on 5th October. Show visitors can enter the prize draw for the chance to win a luxury hamper and a family ticket to one of its attractions, whether that be stepping onto the famous cobbles at the Coronation Street Experience or discovering the mysteries that surround the legend of Nessie at the new Loch Ness Centre in Scotland. With eight attractions to choose from, located all over the UK, from heritage and history to entertainment and adventure, there really is something for everyone.

Visit Buckinghamshire and The Chilterns | Stand 121
