Wining and dining

Into your history and an enthusiast for oenology (the study of wine)? Then you’ll want to consider a selection of holidays with CrosiEurope for your next group trip.

  • Grand British Isles Discovery (13 nights departing on 19th May, 2019): taking in the sights of Scotland, Ireland and the Isles of Scilly and Guernsey with a variety of excursions.
  • Rouen Armada & River Seine Experience (8 nights departing on 9th June): discover Rouen and experience the unique event that draws in beautiful tall ships, sailing boats and military vessels to the river banks of the Seine.
  • Iceland Circumnavigation & Northern Isles (12 nights on the 17th June, 2019): step ashore in four fascinating ports of call as you circumnavigate the spectacular ‘Land of Fire and Ice’.

These cruises are based on departures from Portsmouth and are offered at lead in prices from £769 per person, based on twin occupancy with extra savings including free places and port transfers, depending on the size of the group.



GTO Ship Visit Invitation

Fred.Olsen Cruise Lines is inviting group travel organisers to an event on board its Black Watch ship in August.

The ship was recently refurbished, in which and the work included upgrading the public areas and enhancing cabins throughout the vessel. The event, which includes a ship tour,  and light lunch and refreshments, is open to GTOs who have not visited the ship before , or since its refit which took place at the end of 2017.

The art of river cruising

The newest premium ship for the Amadeus fleet, the MS Amadeus Provence, has a great calendar of cruises.

With capacity for 140 passengers over three decks, the ship also includes a Panorama Bar, offering spectacular views of passing landscapes.
Albatross Travel is offering a seven-day cruise of France’s Burgundy and Provence in its 2019 programme.

Visiting Macon, Chalon-sur-Saone, Lyon, Avignon, Arles and Ardeche Gorge, the trips departing on various dates, include welcome cocktails as well as unlimited red or white wine during dinner, as well as a choice of main for lunch.

Emerald Waterways, which promises to offer a more intimate river cruise experience, offers groups a number of benefits and events.
