The team at the gardens in Rutland have announced a range of offers for coach groups visiting in 2027, including multi-trip discounts and deals on food and drink.

Established by the late BBC Gardeners’ World presenter Geoff Hamilton in 1983, Barnsdale features 38 individually designed gardens, a Chelsea Gold Medal award winning plant nursery and a tea room.
The attraction has released group rates for March - October 2027, offering groups of 20 or more reduced prices for both day tickets and evening entry.
Coach groups visiting next summer will benefit from a selection of offers to enhance a visit to Barnsdale Gardens. Groups of 20+ visiting three times within a calendar year will receive 50% off garden entry for the third group.

Also new for next year, groups can choose from a range of deals on food and drink refreshments served at the popular Helenium Tea Room:
- Offer 1: Sausage or bacon sandwich with a hot drink for £7.
- Offer 2: Deluxe Cream Tea – sandwich with crisps and salad, scone with jam and cream, plus a hot drink for £13.50.
- Offer 3: Receive a 20% discount voucher for a main meal.
In order to redeem the special offers, they must be selected by the coach operator in advance.
What to see at Barnsdale Gardens
The gardens boast many rare and unusual varieties of the plant. Year-round highlights include the Japanese and Mediterranean themed gardens, a woodland walk, and a wildlife garden featuring a beehive, bird bath and pond.

Visits during the summer are defined by vibrant seasonal displays, including Deutzia, Philadelphus, and Salvia in the Versailles Garden and the Rose Garden in full bloom with 50 varieties on show. Summer also provides the chance to see the Kitchen Garden in full productivity.
Guided tours of the full eight-acre site are available for up to 25 people, led by Barnsdale Gardens owner Nick, Geoff’s son, or head gardener Jon Brocklebank. There’s also a wide range of events held throughout the year that are often free to attend.
