The national tour of Agatha Christie’s murder mystery play The Mousetrap will star Only Fools and Horses’ Gwyneth Strong as Mrs Boyle in 2019.

Following a record-breaking 60th anniversary debut tour in 2012, the thriller play is due to return for a national tour, opening at Guildford’s Yvonne Arnaud Theatre 29th January next year. The tour is currently due to conclude at Cardiff’s New Theatre, but further venues are to be announced.

The play will travel across the country, stopping at venues including Northampton’s Royal & Derngate, Oxford Playhouse, Liverpool Empire, Bristol Hippodrome and Norwich Theatre Royal, among others.

The Mousetrap is described as a masterful whodunit and follows a group of people, gathered within a country house and cut off by the snow, as they discover there is a murderer in their midst.
