Comedian and celebrity magician Pete Firman will be on-hand to entertain guests as host of the annual GLT Awards ceremony, taking place at the five-star Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on Thursday 27th June.
Pete is probably best known for his appearances on ITV’s The Next Great Magician, Tonight at the London Palladium and Tommy Cooper Forever, as well as the BBC’s Let’s Sing & Dance for Comic Relief. He has also received a staggering 175 million views online for his amazing tricks and illusions.
His unique blend of comedy and magic has seen him invited to perform on countless TV programmes, including The John Bishop Show, The Sarah Millican Television Programme, Edinburgh Comedy Fest Live and The Magic Show Story, amongst many others.
Firman is also a panto regular and most recently performed as Buttons in Cinderella at the New Wimbledon Theatre, alongside Strictly’s Craig Revel Horwood as the Wicked Stepmother.

Firman’s BBC Radio 4 documentary, Pete Firman’s World of Magic, aired to critical acclaim and he also wrote Tricks To Freak Out Your Friends - a beginner’s magic book which did so well in the UK that it was released in the USA.
Firman has more than 1.2 million followers on TikTok and regularly posts entertaining clips of unexplainable tricks which leave viewers perplexed.
