Lots of winners and finalists reacted on social media to what was taking place live on stage on the night, and since the trophies have made their way back to their new homes, we’ve loved seeing how the class of 2022 has been celebrating.
This year’s Group Leisure & Travel Awards returned as an in-person event for the first time since 2019, rewarding the best of the best across group travel on 5th October at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Milton Keynes.
Among the winners pictured above were Hever Castle which picked up the Best Christmas Experience Award, the National Memorial Arboretum which topped the Best UK Attraction category and the King Richard III Visitor Centre that won the award for Best Museum or Gallery.
Hosted by footballing legend Kevin Keegan, and GLT publisher Rob Yandell, all the winners were announced by representatives from the 2022 Awards Partners, who were invited to the stage to announce the results.
Special guest, Kevin Keegan, said on the night: “It has been fantastic to see so many people enjoying themselves this evening, what a fantastic night! I’m chuffed for all the winners, you can tell what it means to them by their reaction. It’s that appreciation for what they do, especially over the last few years. There has been such a nice atmosphere.”
