Rob's responsibilities are across editorial, design, sales, marketing, events and circulation with a focus on improving and developing Group Leisure & Travel's print magazine as well as its online, digital and social media presence.
He originally joined GLT full-time as its editor in 2001 and is also a director of Yandell Media Group.
Rob has travelled the width and breadth of Britain discovering new places and ideas for groups, often alongside travel organisers and various travel trade partners. But travel has not just been confined to domestic tourism, and he has experienced a host of European countries, the best of the USA, as well as Australia, China, India and South Africa to name just a few.
Rob says: "It's been a privilege over the years to have enjoyed visiting so many attractions, destinations and events. But it's group travel organisers and the amazing people in the travel trade that make it such fun.
"The importance of the group travel market is often over-looked but it makes an enormous contribution to the British economy and tourism worldwide. The role GTOs play is vital, because these important people bring friends, colleagues and communities together."
