About the show
With choreography by Matthew Bourne, the production stars Simon Lipkin (Guys and Dolls) as Fagin, Ava Brennan (Hamilton) as Nancy, Aaron Sidwell as Bill Sikes, Aaron MacGregor as the Artful Dodger, and Philip Franks as Mr Brownlow.
Cameron Mackintosh first encountered Oliver! as a schoolboy in 1960 and has since gone on to create some of its most iconic revivals, including the hugely successful 1994 London Palladium production and the 2009 Theatre Royal Drury Lane staging. This new version has been redesigned for a traditional proscenium stage, fully showcasing Lez Brotherston’s atmospheric set design.

The intimate Gielgud Theatre heightens the drama of Dickensian London, delivering a thrilling, contemporary production of this much-loved musical.
Featuring unforgettable songs including Food, Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah and As Long As He Needs Me, Oliver! remains one of the great musical theatre masterpieces.
