Waikiki Beach%2C Honolulu

Escorted tours company Travelsphere will introduce a number of new tours to its offerings in 2017 that include island-hopping in Hawaii and Greece.

Also new will be tours that transit the Panama Canal, holidays in Tenerife and Greece, and a range of European river cruises.

Hawaii

Hawaii will be a new destination for Travelsphere in 2017, and a 15-day tour begins in Los Angeles with a two-night stay onboard the Queen Mary.

After exploring the sights of LA, the tour heads for the island of Oahu and the capital city of Honolulu, home of Waikiki Beach and Pearl Harbour.

From Honolulu, groups will head out on a seven-night Hawaiian islands cruise, calling at each island.

The cruise allows guests plenty of time to enjoy the highlights, including Maui and the Waimea Canyon on Hawaii, before ending with a two-night stay in San Francisco taking in the Golden Gate Bridge and riding on the famous cable cars.

The Panama Canal

Cruising the Panama Canal is an 18-day adventure onboard the MV Westerdam that begins in the city of San Diego. On the way to the Panama Canal, the ship will call at ports in Mexico, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica.

At each port call there will be a full programme of excursions that allows an insight into the coastal cities, including the opportunity to visit the stone ruins of Tikal in Guatemala, once home to the Mayans and dating back to 600 BC.

Tenerife and Greece

Groups can also opt for Travelsphere’s Sunshine Islands of Tenerife and La Gomera, an eight-day tour exploring the volcanic scenery of Tenerife and its tiny neighbour, La Gomera.

This holiday also includes tours of La Oratava Botanical Gardens and Puerto de la Cruz.

Groups can also take the Athens and the Cyclades Islands itinerary – eight days of discovering the many landmarks of Athens before visiting the Cyclades Islands of Paros, Syros and Mykonos.
