Hard Rock Cafe London has become the first location to debut the brand’s new menu, its most extensive yet with more than 20 new additions.
The original Hard Rock Cafe London opened on Old Park Lane in June 1971.
Officially launching on Friday 14th June, the new menu includes award-winning steak burgers, special boozy milkshakes and a host of savoury shareable feasts.
The new menu is now available at the original Hard Rock Cafe London in Old Park Lane , which was previously voted Best Group Dining Experience as part of the Group Leisure & Travel Awards.
It will be also be on offer at the new flagship Hard Rock Cafe when it opens this summer in Piccadilly Circus and the Hard Rock Cafe Oxford Street located in the newly opened Hard Rock Hotel by Marble Arch.
The stars of the show for the new menu are the steak burgers; made up of 100% certified black angus beef, they promise to be the freshest and most flavourful burger on offer.
Honouring Hard Rock Cafe’s London roots
In homage to the brand’s history and London roots, the new Double Decker Double Cheeseburger will mimic the Down Home Double Burger from the original menu in 1971, and mirrors the famous double decker buses that are synonymous with London.
Antonio Bautista, senior vice president of cafe operations at Hard Rock International, said: “Our heritage in London has remained a staple of our brand and as we celebrate our award-winning steak burgers and prepare to launch them around the world, we wanted to debut them first in the location where it all started.”
The 14th June, the official launch date, marks the 48th anniversary of when the very first Hard Rock Cafe opened at Old Park Lane in 1971. Its mission? To serve the most desirable burgers and milkshakes around.
David Pellow, area vice president of operations for Europe added: “We are thrilled to be the first location to launch Hard Rock’s award-winning steak burgers.
“There is a deep history that Hard Rock Cafe has in London and to be honouring the legacy and local fans with an exclusive taste of the new steak burger is the perfect ode to the brand’s heritage.”
Following an “extraordinary demand”, groups can now book tickets to go and see David Hockney: Bigger & Closer (not smaller & further away) at Lightroom in King’s Cross, until December.
With three London venues to choose from, and a fourth on the way, groups can expect a wide range of top performances across the rest of the year and into next.
