Doors will open to the Guinness Open Gate Brewery London on 11th December. Located on the site of the Old Brewer’s Yard in Covent Garden it will offer brewery tours, tastings, restaurants and community spaces.

Guinness Open Gate Brewery will feature a microbrewery facility, dining and merchandise.

What to expect at Guinness Open Gate Brewery London

Visitors will be able to take part in a tour of the microbrewing facility led by master brewer, Hollie Stephenson and find out the story of Guinness’s heritage within Covent Garden through an immersive 360-degree experience, Step into the Pint.

As part of the tour, Guinness enthusiasts will also be able to enjoy a pint and sample a range of rotating, limited-edition craft brews and seasonal specials, including non-stout varieties and low-alcohol options. They will also be able to try their hand at perfecting the art of pouring a Guinness in the 232 Bar.

Dining options at Guinness Open Gate Brewery

Guinness Open Gate Brewery will feature two restaurants in the Shelton Street building, along with casual courtyard dining with pints and pies in Old Brewers Yard.

The rooftop-based Gilroy’s Loft will feature a horseshoe bar centrepiece and a menu celebrating Britain’s coast featuring line-caught fish and freshly shucked oysters. 

The Porter’s Table will offer sharing menus with locally-sourced ingredients, including meat bred in the UK and aged in West London, fish caught in British waters, and vegetables grown in neighbouring counties.

Merchandise and more

Visitors will also be able to get their hands on Guinness merchandise from two shops.

Guinness Good Things, located on Neal Street will have a changing collection of Guinness collaborations in fashion, art and lifestyle. The Store - accessed via the brewery building, will sell Guinness merchandise and clothing. 

The Guinness Vaults, located on Langley Street are private-hire spaces which will host events including music, cultural, community and entertainment.
