Celebrity gardener Charlie Dimmock will make her second appearance with The River Cruise Line in 2018, joining the seven day Springtime in the Gardens of Holland & Belgium cruise in May.
The confirmation comes as the river cruise holiday operator reveals its 2018 holiday programme, complete with sailings on the Dutch Waterways, Rhine and Danube.

Groups will meet Charlie Dimmock when sailing on a green-fingered cruise to Holland and Belgium’s gardens from 3rd May. Springtime in the Gardens of Holland & Belgium will include visits to the Floralia Flower Show, Appletern Gardens, National Botanic Garden of Belgium and the Keukenhof Gardens.
Charlie Dimmock will share her horticultural expertise with passengers throughout the cruise, via talks and Q&A sessions. She will also accompany the group to each of the gardens, answering horticultural questions along the way.

The full 2018 programme focuses on the four-star ms Serenity, and includes sailings on the Dutch Waterways, Rhine and Danube. The ms Serenity is one of two ships chartered exclusively by the River Cruise Line in the UK and has recently undergone a £700,000 refurbishment of its lounge and bar areas.
Other cruises on offer include a seven day Battlefields & Stories of the Great War cruise through Holland and Belgium, taking in Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent and with excursions to World War One battlefields at Mons and Ypres. The holiday will be accompanied by author and historian Nick Lloyd, who will provide a talk on board and accompany the group to the battlefields.
Romantic Rhine & Swiss Delights, meanwhile, is a returning itinerary that has been extended for 2018 to depart from Amsterdam, following the Rhine and passing through towns and cities including Cologne, Rudesheim, Mannheim, Speyer, Strasbourg and Basel.
