Oscar-winning Ghost the Musical will tour the UK
Ghost the Musical will make a return to the stage this summer, embarking on a UK tour for the first time since 2019.
A new immersive Harry Potter attraction is due to open at Universal Studios Hollywood in California on 7th April.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter experience has taken over five years to create, and is described as being a faithful recreation of the magical world in J.K Rowling’s Harry Potter fantasy novels.
Groups visiting the attraction can expect to see and explore landscapes like those in the books and the Warner Bros. films, including Hogwarts Castle.
Experience Hogsmeade
Visitors will enter the Harry Potter attraction through an archway leading into the bustling streets of wizarding village Hogsmeade.
There will be merchants hard at work, a train conductor welcoming new arrivals and a pub packed with hungry patrons.
Guests can enjoy authentic food and beverages at several locations, including the Three Broomsticks and the Hog’s Head pub, as well as the Magic Neep – a greengrocers – and Butterbeer carts.
Wizarding retail therapy
Visitors will be able visit many of the shops that feature in the Harry Potter series, such as Honeydukes, Ollivanders, Owl Post and Zonko’s Joke Shop.
Other shops featuring include Wiseacre’s Wizarding Equipment, Dervish and Banges, Gladrags Wizardwear and Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods.
Guests will be able to buy merchandise like wands, robes and other collectibles.
Two new rides
A new roller-coaster called Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey will make its US debut at Universal Studios Hollywood in 3D-HD as part of The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
The multidimensional thrill ride will feature a robotics ride system and filmed action sequences.
Riders will wear Quidditch-inspired 3D goggles on the ride, which spirals 360-degrees along an elevated ride track.
A family roller-coaster has also been created for younger visitors.
Flight of the Hippogriff is Universal Studios Hollywood’s first outdoor roller coaster, and experience ride is themed around riders learning how to ride a hippogriff.
Group visitors
Group travel organisers booking for ten or more to visit Universal Studios Hollywood will receive discounted entry rates.
