Tatton Christmas Mansion

Group travel organisers who are already seeking inspiration for Christmas 2016 need look no further than Tatton Park in Cheshire.

The estate has announced that parties who book before 29th February will receive this year’s group rate of £9 per adult instead of paying a higher price next year.

There is also a special group lunch package available to book for next year at £24 per person, which includes a three-course meal and wine served in the Tenant’s Hall.

2016 opening times have already been announced. The Christmas mansion will be available to visit between 21st November and 4th December, and then on the weekends 9th to 11th December and 16th to 18th December.

The group lunch package will be offered between Monday 21st and Thursday 24th November, and Monday 28th November and Friday 2nd December.

This year’s Christmas celebrations, which are currently taking place, include a mince pie treat for guests in the servants’ quarters, workshops on how to make your own decorations at home, and kitchen maids cooking traditional festive delicacies in the kitchens.

What else can you do at Tatton Park?

Tatton has plenty to offer guests all year round; the historic estate receives in the region of 800,000 visitors every year who go to enjoy its Georgian mansion, Tudor Old Hall, award-winning gardens and 1930s rare breeds farm.

Further highlights include a 1,000-acre deer park – home to red and fallow deer – and speciality shops.

The estate also boasts an adventure playground, a restaurant, the Gardener’s Cottage tea room and a year-round events programme.
