Newell’s Group Travel launches group trips to Plopsaland

Group packages are now available that will take groups to Plopsaland De Panne in Belgium.

The package, created by Newell’s Group Travel, includes return coach travel, a return Channel crossing, and entry to Plopsaland De Panne theme park and the neighbouring Plopsaqua waterpark.

Accommodation, dinner, bed and breakfast is also included at Hoge Duin, as well as five free drinks.

About Plopsaland de Panne and Plopsaqua

Established more than 15 years ago, Plopsaland is located near the town of De Panne on the Belgian coast.

The park is themed around a series of Flemish and Dutch cartoon characters, created by Studio 100, including Plop the Gnome and Samson the talking dog.

There are ten themed zones in the park, which feature more than 50 different attractions.

Thrill rides include Anubis – a rollercoaster that reaches speeds of up to 90 kilometres an hour and heights of 34 metres in just two seconds – and The Dragon, which is also a rollercoaster.

Family-friendly rides, on the other hand, include the Plopsa Express train, which meanders around the park, and The Big and Betsy Farm, where children can meet chickens and have a go at milking a pretend cow.

Plopsaqua, meanwhile, is aViking-themed waterpark opened in 2015 and cost more than 16 million euros to build.

Rides include a 20 metre-tall Sky Drop slide, a Disco Slide, and a storm pool.

As well as being close to Plopsaland, Hoge Duin has the beach, sand dunes and shops on its doorstep.

The resort is experienced in welcoming groups and has a capacity for 255 guests.
