The Barbarians versus South Africa

Encore Tickets has announced that it will be selling rugby tickets for the first time this year, with special offers for groups of ten or more. 

The theatre and attraction specialist now has availability for group travel organisers to get discounted rates for The Barbarians versus South Africa match this coming November.

Groups of ten or more will be able to book seats at the Wembley Stadium game at the discounted rate of £35 – down from £60 – if booked before the end of August.

The match itself kicks off at 3pm on Saturday 5th November.

Encore’s senior sales manager Sergio Cicalo said: “It’s a new area for us, but we couldn’t have started with a more exciting game and we’re sure lots of our existing coach tour and GTO partners will be interested in setting up trips to the match”.

The Barbarians vs South Africa

The Barbarians is an invitational team based in Britain, nicknamed the Baa-Baas. The November match will be the first time in six years that The Barbarians will take on the South African team, who are commonly known as the Springboks.

They will also be taking on the Springboks for only the eighth time since 1952. Groups going to the match can expect to see many famous players gracing the teams; previous players such as Brian Habana and Ruan Pienaar have played in former years.

It will be The Barbarians’ first appearance under the Wembley arch since the Olympic Centenary match against Australia in 2008.
