Colours Of Cluny Sound And Light Show Revealed For Cluny Hill %7C Group Travel News

Forres Features Community Interest Company has revealed details for Colours of Cluny – a new sound and light show that will highlight Cluny Hill this November.

The show is being produced by the same team of creatives that’s behind the successful Enchanted Forest in Pertshire, and will be the first of its kind in Morayshire.

Colours of Cluny will be similar to Enchanted Forest in that the show will combine bright ligh displayss alongside sound to transform the look and feel of Nelson’s Tower and Cluny Hill after dark.

Kate Bonney, creative director of Colours of Cluny, commented, “We are incredibly excited to introduce Colours of Cluny, a vibrant light and sound experience in to Forres later this year.

“Plans are now well under way to create what we believe will be a truly spectacular show that will show off the natural beauty of the area. We expect it will be a spectacle that will prove to be a must-see for both the local community and visitors whom we hope will venture to northern Scotland to see the skies light up around Cluny Hill.”

Cluny Hill is on the south side of Forres and visitors will find Nelson’s Tower at the top.

Graham Murdoch, chair of Forres Features Community Interest Company, added, “We are delighted that this project is now progressing at a pace.

“With a very talented creative team in place, and tickets just about to go on sale, we’re truly excited about the potential for this event and the region. I, for one, can’t wait to see it come to fruition and would urge everyone to book early as we expect demand for tickets to be strong.”

About Cluny Hill and Nelson’s Tower

The Tower was built in 1806 to commemorate Admiral Lord Nelson and his victory at the Battle of Trafalgar.

Nelson’s Tower is open to the public and groups can climb the 96 steps to the viewing area on the roof, offering views of the town and Findhorn Bay.

Tickets will be on sale on Friday 24th June and can be purchased at www.coloursofcluny.com.
