Windsor Great Park has launched a group visitors guide for The Savill Garden.

Savill Garden Windsor Great Park group packages

Windsor Great Park has launched a group visitors guide for The Savill Garden, detailing a varied selection of tours and experiences for group visits in 2019.

The guide provides details on the ‘Royal Heritage Tour and The Savill Garden’, which is available exclusively for groups.

The limited availability tour lasts approximately one hour, and provides groups with the opportunity to disembark from the coach at the top of the Long Walk, for views over London, of the Copper Horse statue of George III, Windsor Castle and beyond.

Other experiences available for groups

Garden tours are available to book and are led by guides or by the gardeners themselves.

Experiences available include ‘Windsor Castle and The Savill Garden’, ‘Frogmore House and The Savill Garden’, ‘The Royal Garden and River Boat Cruise’ and ‘Dorney Court and The Savill Garden’.

The guide also recommends three walks that can be taken from The Savill Building, which are ‘Through The Deer Park and to the top of The Long Walk’ (3.8 miles), ‘To The Valley Gardens’ (1.7 miles) and ‘A lakeside walk of Virginia Water’ (5.1 miles).

Events suitable for groups to attend are run at the site throughout the year. For 2019 these include the RHS Spring Ornamental Competition from 13th to 14th April and the Art in the Garden exhibition from 24th September to 4th November.
