Blenheim estate

Blenheim Palace in Oxfordshire has rounded up some of its autumn highlights for group visitors, including guided tours and walks that present the estate’s outdoor beauty.

The World Heritage Site will boast a combination of guided tours and suggested walks throughout the season as well as warming seasonal food and a revamped room for a special afternoon tea.

Behind the scenes of a great estate

Groups might like to begin with a guided tour called Running a Great Estate. This is led by an expert guide who will offer an exclusive behind-the-scenes glimpse into daily life at Blenheim Palace, and expose what it takes to run an estate of such great proportions.

This talk and tour highlights the small army of people who help run, restore, preserve and maintain the palace, parkland and formal gardens, and gives groups an insight into their roles and routines.

The Indian Room

On your autumn visit, book into the beautifully restored Indian Room for a special cream tea. The catering team at Blenheim Palace have reimagined the traditional Afternoon Tea to reflect the exotic Indian Room décor.

Presented in buffet-style, groups can make build their own cream tea as well as indulge in tea, prosecco and champagne.

Take a walk in the grounds

In the parkland, groups can take in the scenery of the palace, grand bridge, great lake and the unusual Cedar of Lebanon tree, which was used in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

There is an abundance of historical monuments including the Column of Victory and Rosamund’s Well to see whilst exploring the colours in the park too.
