New Coronation Street packages as attraction opens to public

Groups can enjoy an exclusive look behind the scenes of British soap opera, Coronation Street, with some new tour packages from tour operators including Shearings Holidays and Just Go! Holidays.

Coronation Street's set at MediaCityUK in Manchester will open its doors to the public for the first time at the end of May. 

Tours will offer the chance to explore many of the locations seen on the show, from the famous houses and shops, to the Rovers Return and the newest addition, Victoria Street.

What will the tours involve?

Visitors can ‘unleash their inner Liz McDonald in the Rovers or Norris Cole in the Kabin’ and enjoy the surreal experience of walking the famous cobbles, taking a closer look at the lives and tales of the UK's longest running soap.

Shearings Holidays will be offerings two-day, three-day and four-day packages, which will each involve the Coronation Tour, a visit to the city of Manchester and all coach travel.

The two-day package is available on selected dates between June and November from Yorkshire pick up points. The three-day package is available on selected dates between June and November from South East pick up points. And the four-day package is available on selected dates between June and November from various pick up points around the UK.

With Just Go! Holidays, guests can choose from a two- or three-day trip, with pick-up points across the country. The two-day itinerary also visits Chester, while the three-day trip offers free time to explore Manchester. Return coach travel and dinner, bed and breakfast at selected hotels is included.
