Music Heritage London has teamed up with a number of popular London attractions to offer groups a new music-themed bus tour in the capital.
Suitable for parties of between five and 70 people, these new music-themed bus tours take place on an original 1960s Routemaster London bus in order to ‘transport guests back to one of the most defining decades of 20th century Britain – the swinging 60s’.
On the one hour tour, you’ll pass by famous venues and locations in the Kings Road, Chelsea – the popular playground of socialites, actors and rock stars and the location of London’s fashion houses that were synonymous with London during this era.
Music Heritage London is working in collaboration with some of the capital’s most iconic music heritage venues, including The Hard Rock Cafe, Hendrix Flat, Troubadour and The Royal Albert Hall. These attractions will feature along the route, showcasing many aspects of music from nearly 60 years ago.
Passengers will also get to see sites that inspired the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Jimi Hendrix (amongst others), all aboard the bus.
Group rates
In addition to group discounts, Music Heritage London can create a totally customised itinerary for groups of 40 or more people if desired.
Pick-up can be arranged from any of London’s transport terminals or hotels, and your journey comes complete with live commentary by knowledgeable guides, all against a backdrop of classic 60s hits and retro radio jingles.
