The West End production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is now taking bookings until July next year, with around 120,000 new tickets reportedly on sale.

The extended period will run from 10th April through to 28th July 2019 at the Palace Theatre in London.

Group tickets are also now available, with groups of seven plus able to book to see the West End Production.

The current cast is led by Jamie Ballard (Harry Potter), Susie Trayling (Ginny Potter) and Joe-Idris Roberts (Albus Potter). Playing alongside them is Thomas Aldridge (Ron Weasley), Franc Ashman (Hermione Granger), Helen Aluko (Rose Granger Weasley), James Howard (Draco Malfoy) and Jonathan Case (Scorpius Malfoy). They are joined by a 42-strong cast, playing a variety of characters.

Producers Sonia Friedman and Colin Callender said: “As Harry Potter and the Cursed Child continues to grow, with several new productions worldwide, we are so proud to be celebrating our third year here, in London, at the Palace Theatre, the Cursed Child’s first and original home, where it all began.”

About Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

The production, which is presented in two parts, is based on the original new story by J.K.Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany. As the eighth story in the Harry Potter series, the play follows Harry Potter as an overworked employee of the Ministry of Magic, a husband and father of three.

The play follows Harry, and his youngest son Albus, as they come to learn the uncomfortable truth that darkness sometimes comes from unexpected places.

The play is split in two but both parts are intended to be seen in order, either on the same day (matinee and evening) or on two consecutive evenings.

The regular schedule provides performances on Wednesday to Sunday.
