Plans for the annual Group Leisure & Travel Show (GLT Show) are in full swing as the countdown begins to October 11th when the NEC Birmingham hosts the exhibition attracting both GTOs and coach operators.

Group Leisure & Travel Show 2017

The 2017 Group Leisure & Travel Show.

The GLT Show brings together a wide range of destinations, attractions, tour operators, theatre productions, accommodation and service providers, many offering group deals and special offers that can only be attained by visiting the exhibition.

The exhibition continues to receive strong support from a wide range of leading companies and organisations who see the show as the highlight of the group travel calendar. Many new first-time exhibitors join the event in 2018 as well as loyal repeat exhibitors who book each year and see the GLT Show as their primary way of talking to GTOs face to face.

Recent stand bookings for 2018 include St Martin-in-the-Fields, Sunset Beach Club, Dunwood Travel, Ferretti Hotels and Stockeld Park to name just a handful. A full exhibitor listing can be found at the show website www.grouptravelshow.com, which is updated regularly.

Free-to-attend Seminar Theatre

Organisers of Britain’s biggest event for group travel and coach tourism, YPL Exhibitions, say visitors can look forward to a packed day, including three different talks which will take place in the Seminar Theatre, in addition to the wide range of exhibiting companies.

The Seminar Theatre, which visitors can attend free of charge, is headlined by Simon Calder, the well know TV pundit and travel editor of the Independent, who is joined by TV broadcaster and author Gyles Brandreth and TV gardening expert Carol Klein.

All of these celebrities will be offering advice on group visits and are available for Q&A following their presentations. Visitors who have registered for the Group Leisure & Travel Show are able to simply turn up on the day to access the seminars which are extremely popular.
