As part of the anniversary celebrations, groups wishing to see the award-winning musical can now book tickets until September 2019.

Currently the sixth longest-running West End musical of all time, The Lion King has made theatrical history, with six productions worldwide running for 15 or more years.

Ahead of entering its 20th year at London’s Lyceum Theatre, a new video trailer has been released, showcasing the enormity and vibrancy of the show’s design and direction.

The new video highlights the creative ways in which a range of puppets, from hand-held to full body and shadow puppets, are used alongside elaborate costuming and masks to present the many animal characters featured within the story.
