The West End season of the Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical will draw to a close at the Dominion Theatre on 5th January, 2019.
The musical initially played limited seasons at Manchester Opera House, London Coliseum and Toronto’s Ed Mirvish Theatre in 2017 and won the Evening Standard Radio 2 Audience Award for Best Musical in 2017.
Since then it has been seen by over 650,000 people but it’s now entering its final few weeks in London. Following its move to the Dominion Theatre this year, the musical announced a partnership with the Invictus Games Foundation, with a special Gala Performance due to take place in support of the foundation on 6th December 2018.
Iconic songs from the Bat Out Of Hell albums feature within the musical, including You took the words right out of my mouth, Bat out of Hell, I would do anything for Love (But I won’t do that) and Two out of three ain’t bad. The production also features two previously unreleased songs, What part of my body hurts the most and Not allowed to love.
The award-winning production of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical can be described as a romantic adventure; set in a city away from the mainland, the story follows that of Strat, the young leader of The Lost and Raven, daughter of Falco, the ruler of Obsidian.
The production
Produced by David Sonenberg, Michael Cohl, Randy Lennox and Tony Smith. The book, music and lyrics of Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical are by Jim Steinman, with direction by Jay Scheib and choreography by Emma Porter.
Performances held at the Dominion Theatre will run from Monday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with a Wednesday and Saturday matinee at 2.30pm. The musical has a running time of two hours and 40 minutes, including an interval and is currently booking until 5th January 2019.
About the cast
The cast at the Bat Out Of Hell – The Musical is led by Jordan Luke Gage who plays Strat and Christina Bennington as Raven. Joining them is Rob Fowler as Falco and Sharon Sexton as Sloane. Starring alongside them is Alex Thomas-Smith (Tink), Danielle Steers (Zahara), Wayne Robinson (Jagwire), Giovanni Spano (Ledoux) and Ryan Anderson (Blake).

The award-winning musical by Jethro Compton and Darren Clark will transfer to the West End following a sold-out run at Southwark Playhouse.

Group travel organisers and coach tour operators can now book tickets for performances of Wicked the musical until December 2025.
The booking period has extended for the trailblazing show that continues to wow audiences at its purpose-built arena in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
