The sun may still be shining, for now, but if your group’s in need of a pick-me-up here are some toe-tapping musicals that are sure to have you on your feet.

1. Mamma Mia!

To celebrate the sequel film Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again being released, why not pay a visit to the West End to see the original show? With the best ABBA songs including Dancing Queen, Money Money Money and Gimme Gimme Gimme, everyone will be out of their seats. Plus, the colourful set design of the Greek island the show is based on will have you dreaming of blue skies, exotic beaches and adventures. Rates are available for groups of ten or more. 

2. Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

The inspiring tale of 16-year-old Jamie in this hit show explores some heavy issues, including overcoming prejudice and beating bullies. And with catchy songs and big dance numbers, you’ll feel fabulous after seeing it. Groups of six plus can enjoy special rates too. Currently playing at the Apollo Theatre in London until April 2019, you have plenty of time to book your seats.

3. 42nd Street

This step-tacular show is playing at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London until next February when the theatre undergo a big renovation. It was recently announced that Bonnie Langford will star as Dorothy Brock in its final months too. The show, all about dancing, will have you jigging your way out of the theatre and features songs such as We’re In The Money, 42nd Street and Shuffle Off To Buffalo. Group rates are available for those with ten or more. 

4. Chicago

And all that jazz… You’ll not stop singing the songs after seeing Chicago at the Phoenix Theatre in London. Featuring the well-known tale of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly and their web of lies, the show is packed full of glitzy dance routines and familiar songs. 5. Kinky Boots 

The show, based on the true story of a shoe factory in Northampton and with songs written by Cyndi Lauper, is touring the UK from September, kicking off at the Royal & Derngate in Northampton. Further venues include the Opera House in Manchester, Bristol Hippodrome, Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield and the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. The feel-good musical features songs like Price & Son, The Most Beautiful Thing, and Sex is in the Heel. Groups should contact their chosen theatres for booking details .
