The world premiere of Last Night a DJ Saved My Life, a brand new musical starring David Hasselhoff, is coming to the Blackpool Opera House this October.

From the creators of Dreamboats and Petticoats and Boogie Nights, the show will be filled with classic 90s hits, promising to have the audience singing along.

The Spice Girls’ Spice up Your Life, Robbie Williams’ Angels, Wigfield’s Saturday Night and M.C. Hammer’s Can’t Touch This underscore the fast and humorous plot that has been devised to have they young and old reliving the time of brick-sized phones, Power Rangers and The Hoff – as he is often named – in Baywatch.

Set in the early 1990s, The Hoff plays a DJ and night club owner in Ibiza learning how to cope with being a single parent to his visiting teenager daughter who wants to lead the life of parties, just like he did. Suddenly his motto is “do as I say, not as I did!”

Last Night a DJ Saved My Life ticks the box for so many people,” Michael Williams, managing director of Blackpool’s Winter Gardens said. “Whether you grew up in the 1990s, you were listening to your teenager’s music or you were watching the news there was so much going on and it will all be celebrated in this amazing show.”

The world premiere of Last Night a DJ Saved My Life is on Friday 16th October. It will then run from Saturday 17th to Saturday 31st October.

Tickets for groups of 10 or more and 20 plus are available at reduced prices and will go on sale at 10am Friday 27th February. For more information or to book tickets visit
