Will Young stars in Cabaret

Date Posted: 28/05/2012

Will Young is set to make his West End musical theatre debut in Cabaret, when it opens at London’s Savoy Theatre on the 3rd October.

Playing the role of enigmatic Emcee in director Rufus Norris’s re-imagining of his double Olivier Award-winning production, Will Young will be joined by former EastEnders actress Michelle Ryan, playing Sally Bowles.

Cabaret features an iconic score which includes Money Makes The World Go Round, Two Ladies, Maybe This Time, and title track Cabaret.

The production turns Weimar Berlin of 1931 into a sassy, sizzling haven of decadence. And at its dark heart are the notorious Emcee and sassy Sally Bowles, who perform nightly at the infamous Kit Kat Klub.

Cabaret will play a four-week tour prior to its West End opening, visiting the following venues:

Mayflower Theatre, Southampton - 3rd to 8th September
Theatre Royal Nottingham - 10th to 15th September
Theatre Royal, Norwich - 17th to 22nd September
The Lowry Theatre, Salford Quays - 24th to 29th September

Group travel organisers should contact their chosen venue or preferred ticketing agent for more information on group booking rates.
