Why London and Bristol feel sheepish

Date Posted: 23/10/2014

Next year, over 100 giant sculptures of Shaun the Sheep will appear in two art trails across London and Bristol, as part of the Shaun in the City project.

Mirroring the Gromit Unleashed art trail of 2012, the sculptures - which have been created by artists, celebrities and designers - will be placed in iconic locations across the two cities.

The project managers have yet to reveal the names behind the designs – for now they’re referring to the artists as ‘shear talent’.

When the sculptures are taken down they will all be auctioned off to raise money for sick children in hospitals across the UK.

Groups will be able to see the colourful sculptures from spring next year in London, before they are moved to Bristol in the summer.
