West End closure for MDQ

Date Posted: 20/10/2011

Million Dollar Quartet will close at the West End’s Noël Coward Theatre on the 14th January.

The jukebox musical which opened in the West End at the end of February has previously played on Broadway prior to its London opening. It has been reported that plans for a UK tour are currently being laid by the show’s producers.

Million Dollar Quartet recreates the iconic musical moment in 1956 when rock ‘n’ roll legends Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, came together for an impromptu jam session. The score features classic hits including Blue Suede Shoes, I Walk The Line, Hound Dog and Great Balls Of Fire.

Groups keen to see the production before its West End closure should contact their preferred agency for ticketing details and group rates.
